Westholme Cottage is nestled in the grounds of our family home.  We moved to the Isle of Arran in 2023 after falling in love with Arran on our family holiday. We hope you will love Westholme Cottage and Arran as much as we do!

Perfect cottage for couples and families that love island adventures…beach days, coastal paths, hill walking, dog walking, trail running, cycling (mountain, road, gravel), golfing.  Relaxing days and cosy evenings in front of the log burner are also encouraged!

Interior

• Westholme Cottage is fully equipped for four people, located all on one level.
• Two Bedrooms: spacious double bedroom and cosy twin bedroom.
• The lounge benefits from a wood burning stove, with as much firewood as you need during your stay.

• The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, under counter fridge and washing machine.

Outside

• Whilst Westholme Cottage is located within the grounds of our family home, the cottage has it’s own fenced garden with picnic bench to enjoy panoramic sea views across the Kilbrannon Sound to the Kintyre Peninsula and Blackwaterfoot’s fabulous sunsets.
• Approximately 1/2 mile (by road or on footpath across fields and coastal track) from the village of Blackwaterfoot with all its amenities: a licensed convenience store and post office, garage, sandwich shop, bakery, butcher, newsagent/gift shop, Kinloch Hotel (bar, restaurant and swimming pool).
• Located adjacent (50m up a track) to Bellevue Farm, offering farm tours and fresh farm produce.
• Less than 500m walk to the beach and Arran Coastal Path.
• Approximately 1 mile from the World famous 12-hole Shiskine  golf course, and Crows Nest (Coffee, Clubhouse, Kitchen).
• Pony trekking at Cairnhouse stables.

Whilst the Cottage garden is enclosed, the grounds of Westholme are not fully enclosed and are surrounded by livestock farms. It is therefore essential that dogs are supervised and under control at all times.

We take a Security Bond of £150 refundable within 2 weeks of departure.
