Please note: children under 6 years must not use the top bunk.

The bathroom also has a toilet douche, sink cabinet and mirrored wall cabinet with shaver socket.

There is a recognised walking route approximately 50 metres from the property, with several more walking routes within two miles. A copy of the Lagg to Whiting Bay walk from the Walking on Arran book is supplied in the cottage.

Parking

Private parking is available.

There is space for one vehicle directly outside the cottage within the gated area, with two additional parking spaces approximately 30 metres away. Further parking can be arranged if necessary.

Good Housekeeping Bond

A £150 Good Housekeeping Bond applies to this property.

The bond is placed as a pre-authorisation on the guest’s payment card two days before arrival and is normally released four days after departure, provided no deductions are required.

Important Information Before Booking

We cannot accept dogs as The Old Tearoom is situated on a working farm, where there are sheep and two large dogs. The dogs may bark initially but are described by the owner as well behaved.

There are areas of water around the farm. These are not directly accessible without opening or climbing gates or fences. Children should not be left unattended.

Guests should also be aware that the rural location includes uneven surfaces and farm surroundings.

Maximum occupancy is five guests.

No smoking or vaping is permitted and no parties or events are allowed. Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
