Duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided but towels are required.
3 shower/bathrooms – 1 shower is the en suite off downstairs bedroom, 1 over bath shower downstairs, 1 large shower upstairs.
The living areas are connected by double doors from the kitchen, to the lounge/dining room, to the sun lounge facing the sea and garden.
Outside, the large garden looks onto the shore, with a driveway to the side, and is all enclosed from the road. There are flat grassy areas and a sheltered area looking onto the sea.
Drumadoon Cottage South has uninterrupted sea views towards the Kintyre peninsula as it is situated right on the shore front of the picturesque village of Blackwaterfoot on the idyllic Island of Arran, which is off the southwest coast of Scotland. The cottage is ideal for families but especially due to its downstairs en suite double bedroom, it is also suitable for couples on their own too.
The ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick takes 55 minutes and the cottage is 12 miles across the island. Details of ferries can be found at www.calmac.co.uk.
The famous 12-hole Shiskine Golf Course, which also has tennis courts, outdoor bowling green and tearoom is just a few yards away, and it is only a 5-minute walk to the village shops and Kinloch Hotel which has sports facilities, indoor swimming pool, bar & restaurant. Blackwaterfoot village shops include a small grocer with off licence & post office, a newsagent, butcher, baker, takeaway sandwich shop and also riding stables and a garage for fuel and repairs.
Booking fee of £150 per week is due initially and the full cost 12 weeks before the holiday.
