Adults only and pet free house.  Glencairn is a beautiful Scottish Villa new to the rental market last year. Enjoy the extensive garden with traditional sandstone wall, hedges, and scenic views to the hills and fields beyond. From upstairs there are views over the bay to the castle and hills.

Just a short walk (800m) to Brodick village or a 2 minute drive.  Lamlash village is just ‘over the hill’.   Easy to manage without bringing your car to the island.

There is parking in the driveway.  The nearest bus stop is 200 metres away at the main road.

Groundfloor

• Enter through the front porch with ample space for shoes and coats. Window seating to enjoy garden and field views
• Double bedroom – perfectly sized double bedroom at the front of the house (south facing) with double bed, drawers, clothes rail, seating and smart tv in the bedroom
• Bathroom – a beautiful deep Victorian style bath, shower over, hand basin and loo
• Kitchen is very well equipped: Zanussi oven, Panasonic multi oven/ microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and Krups coffee machine (Nespresso). Plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses and a wide range of utensils, sharp knives, cooking and serving equipment. Views towards Goatfell from kitchen window
• Utility cupboard in the kitchen has a tumble dryer and freezer
• Dining room – easily seats 4 around the long table, lovely views to the hills on the west of Brodick – great to watch the sunset.

Glencairn is perfectly positioned for guests seeking countryside tranquillity while staying close to village life. Step outside and you’re on the Coastal Pathway, turn left towards Lamlash or right towards Brodick and beyond. Dunfion is just a bracing walk up the hill. After your island adventures, return to Glencairn’s beautiful garden to unwind. Relax on the lawn and wild grass area at the front of the house and let the sights and sounds of nature wash over you – birdsong, the gentle breeze, the peaceful rhythm of Arran.
