Perfect for couples who want to relax, unwind and explore. Glencairn is a traditional Scottish house, beautifully converted and new to the rental market this year.  It is surrounded by landscaped and wild garden with traditional sandstone wall, trees and from upstairs there are scenic views over Brodick Bay towards Goatfell and Brodick Castle.

A short walk to Brodick village or a 2 minute drive.  Lamlash village is just ‘over the hill’

There is parking in the driveway.  The nearest bus stop is 300metres away at the main road

This family home is well furnished throughout with spacious rooms and clean fresh minimalist decor.

Ground Floor

  • Enter through the front porch with ample space for shoes and coats. Window seating to enjoy garden views
  • Double bedroom – good size double bedroom at the front of the house; with double bed, drawers, clothes rail and seating
  • Bathroom – a beautiful deep Victorian bath, hand basin and loo (there’s also a shower upstairs).
  • Kitchen is very well equipped: Zanussi oven, Panasonic multi microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine. Plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses and a wide range of utensils, sharp knives, cooking and serving equipment. Views towards Goat Fell from kitchen window.
  • Utility cupboard in the kitchen has a tumble dryer and freezer.
  • Dining room – easily seats 4 around the long table, lovely views to the hills on the west of Brodick – great to watch the sunset.

Upstairs

  • Shower room – hand basin and loo, views to sea and Goatfell
  • Living room lounge – 2 comfy sofas, and great views from the skylight window over Brodick Bay to Goatfell. HD TV with a wide range of TV channels
  • Plenty of board games, jigsaws and books around for guests to borrow and enjoy

  • Couches and a table for chilling in the garden. As well as sun loungers, yoga mats, badminton set

This is a perfect house for a visitors that love island holidays;  outdoors exploring,  cyclists, runners and walkers.  The Coastal Path route runs by the house and Dunfion is just up the hill! Glencairn’s garden is great for relaxing after a day’s adventure and exploring.
