North Cottage is situated directly opposite the 18th green at Lamlash Golf Course and offers a stunning elevated view of the sea and Holy Isle. Both front and rear gardens are fully enclosed, private and offer a number of spots to sit. The extensive rear garden rises on a slight gradient to a sizeable decking area, complete with garden furniture and loungers. Spend the whole day here soaking up the sun or simply relaxing and enjoying the views. A bell bbq and hammock are also available for use. A private off road parking space is available at the end of the property.
The spacious interior has recently been refurbished to a high standard and offers a smart tv in the living room, with a log burning stove (In addition to full central heating), wooden floors and sheepskin rug. An additional smart tv and dart board are in the downstairs side room.
The kitchen is modern and fresh, with a traditional cottage feel. It has a fridge freezer, table and chairs, washing machine, electric hob and oven, microwave, cafetière, toaster, kettle and wine fridge for your wine.
The property offers both upstairs and downstairs toilets, with the upstairs having a bath and overhanging shower.
Both bedrooms have double beds and are a generous size with their own storage cupboards and bedroom furniture, including side tables and lamps. The double aspect of the property offers more stunning views of both front and rear gardens, golf course and the sea.
Full fibre wi-fi is also included.
Access to the beach and all local amenities, including bars, restaurants, shops and electric charging points is a short 10 minute walk down the hill. ‘The Drift Inn’ is our favourite for food and drink and is situated on the waterfront just down the hill. Food is also available at ‘Duncan’s on the Green’ within Lamlash Golf Club across the road.
The bus service on the Island is excellent and the bus stop is just over 100 metres down the hill. Check the timetable for a bus that takes you to directly outside the Auchrannie Resort if you’re looking to have a swim or gym day.
Arran is an outstanding destination for hillwalking and mountain biking, with the ‘Fairy Glen’ walking/cycling trail starting 10 metres outside the cottage taking you all the way into Brodick.
Electricity, linen, towels and cleaning are included in the price.
No pets, smoking or vaping are permitted within the property.
There is a £150 security deposit required which will be returned within the week after the property is vacated, if all in order.
