Approx. 500m from Brodick ferry terminal with views of Brodick Bay, Goat Fell and the Arran Hills. Within walking distance of Brodicks pubs and restaurants. We believe the cottage is about 150 years old and was restored, renovated and extended in 2009 /10.
Strathwhillan Cottage was renovated to be suitable for assisted wheelchair access. There is a bedroom with en-suite wet room with a shower and Doc M WC with fold down support rail. There is a paddle handle on the basin tap and a support handle in the shower. There are no stairs or steps and the car can be driven up to the ramp.
The cottage sits snuggly in the middle of its mature fenced garden which has areas of lawn and a large terraced area with a table and ample seating. There is a gas barbecue and lockable outside shed for golf clubs and bikes etc. There is parking for 3 cars. Another car could be parked on the drive but would be blocked in by the other cars.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement with us subject to our terms and a £20 charge.
We take weekly bookings from April to November, Christmas and Hogmanay. Our changeover day is Sunday. Our short stay prices are based on a three night’s stay.
